I am this close to dropping $420 on eBay* and buying one for our porch.
THIS CLOSE.
The timing isn't ideal, what with me being not-so-employed right now........ Will someone else pls buy it so I can't?

*Update: This one's not vintage. I don't want it. Which, PHEW.
Buy the chair.
ReplyDeleteWe had one in our basement as a kid (it'd been my mom's growing up). I mostly remember it because I was having a great time pushing my little sister around in it one time and it fell out of the ceiling pretty dramatically, trapping her underneath and everything - we had a hard time trusting it afterwards. I wonder where it is though - it WOULD be great on our porch.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how easy it is to anchor the thing :/
DeleteToo busy buying the tiny wolf puppy picture.
ReplyDeletemy parents have had one since i was a kid and it's from the 70s. it has its own stand that the chair hangs from. they keep it outside and it's covered by a garbage bag unless they have parties.
ReplyDeleteThey have one at Pier 1 that is only $280...
ReplyDeleteI know it sounds snotty, but i reallllly want vintage.
DeleteOh believe me I get it ;-) I looove the vintage ones but I'm an even bigger sucker for a good deal. Now if there was only a way to get both a good deal and vintage... i'll keep an eye out for you!
