    I'm pretty sure you posted about giving up and getting birkenstocks and then the boys shut it down. I got a pair of birkenstock gizeh sandals this year and I totally stand by that shit. Then internet suggests that you can get vegan ones.

    I promise this isn't just shameless self-promotion. I posted about them here.

    I also knit in my spare time though, so I may (probably) have questionable taste.

    I found my college-era birks in my old closet at my parents' house last weekend and brought them home. I haven't worn them "out" so to speak, but I had forgotten how awesome (if fugly) they are.
