Hm, I realize now that my comment seemed like a dress critique. It's not; I can totally see that dress looking sexy. I just don't think either shoes really go with this dress, though.
You need something a bit lighter. What about something with color?
I don't like wedges in general. There's something so wrong about those ones in particular. The booties are very nice. I feel like they're not the ideal shoes for that dress, there's too much fabric covering the foot for a dress that form-fitting.
Of these two, I like the booties, but I agree with the others who have suggested a more dressy or colorful or sexy shoe might be an even better fit with your dress. So, if you're open to suggestions:
These have a somewhat similar shape as the booties.
I also love these delicate Kate Spades, they are both sweet and whimsical.
I'm not sure either of these are REALLY right, but if these are truly the only two options I definitely prefer the booties. Are the wedges suede or microfiber or something? Beyond the style itself, the material they're made from reads way too casual for that dress, to me.
I would wear those booties daily for the rest of my life. Love love love.
ReplyDeleteNo, tomorrow I'll tell you if you are right or not.
ReplyDeleteAren't nude close toed wedges always the wrong answer?
ReplyDeleteis this a trick question ? none of the above, i'd say.
ReplyDeletethough i do love the booties for a different dress.

Deleteyes. Though the booties are er interestting at least
Deleteagreed, love the booties for something else, neither for this dress
DeleteMeh the dress.
ReplyDeleteNobody asked for a dress critique. SHE ALREADY BOUGHT THE DRESS.
Deleteinsulting someone's wedding dress that they already bought? seriously? that's low.
Deleteshitty comment. meh, you.
DeleteAwww, you guys. That's all heartwarming and shit. It's okay though, I mean I did solicit opinions from strangers on the internet.
DeleteI think you meant to pair this dress with those booties.
ReplyDeleteTwo important facts about the dress:
ReplyDelete1. ISWEARTOGOD it looks better on, and the train is getting chopped off.
2. It was crazy cheap. Which leaves money for things like accessories and shoes. Also booze.
It's great. Ignore the naysayers.

No, I didn't take it that way. The dress you posted is killer, and definitely something I'd go for if I could afford it.
DeleteI like the booties in general, but neither goes with the dress. I think you need something... sexier? Not sure.
ReplyDeleteStrap those bad boys into the booties. I'd walk straight out of the wedges. But that's just me.

ReplyDeleteNeither. That dress is too glam for both pairs. Although, generally speaking, I do love the booties.
ReplyDeleteBOOTIES. No question.
ReplyDeletei just voted by accident while trying to scroll down the page. oops.

These DvFs have pretty asymmetrical straps.
These floral Alice + Oliva pumps are fantastic.
Lastly, these Michael Kors wedges could be an option!

ReplyDeleteIf anyone said the wedges I think this site would spontaneously combust.
ReplyDeletei said the wedges. those booties are heinous.
