The elusive lace dress.


Bonjour ESB,

My humble request is for any insight in regards to this dress. 

I have attempted your suggestion of Reverse Googling the image and have come up with nothing but Pinterest boards and tumbles all without reference. 

Something similar would be appreciated but I am hunting down this dress in particular. There is no date, invite list or budget set yet, it all hinges on the dress and this is only dress I've seen that I feel like committing to.

    Also, just caught up on yesterdays post. I'd love a San Fran city guide if any one would fancy doing it, and you would care to run it.

      Let's shine a light instead of cursing the darkness, ladies. Truly, "San Fran" is never okay. "SF" is acceptable when writing. "Frisco"-- never, unless you're a biker or a rapper. It's a little cloying and precious (just like SF!) but when it town, you can use the local abbreviation: "the City."
      That said, I'd be happy to pitch in on a city guide if ESB wants one.

      I think it is hilarious that people get so worked up about "San Fran", but no one seems to mind the constant use of "BM" as an abbreviation. Ha!

      Really though, we get worked up cause it's just not right. Some abbreviations are totally ok, like "SF" while typing or "The City" when speaking.

      But while we're talking about city guides, it's easy to google places in popular cities. We need guides for places that seem utterly boring. Like Arizona or something.

      Can we have a city guide to Flagstaff?

    I know this is not remotely helpful as the dress is only stocked in Sydney, but...

    it looks an awful lot like one of Lover's White Magick dresses.

      Thank you!I'm sure I remember you suggesting that collection to someone. I was a little bit obsessed by that dress for a while, but live in london, so it was not to be. I also think it might be designed for flatter chests than my own.

    Shaped like a robe but somehow totally works-- speaking from a photographers point of view. I'd add a few accessories to help it along, but that dress with golden light would be a vision.
