1. I have linked to BHLDN twice in the past 8 days. Unsnarkily.
2. I have sponsors and I actually like them and I sometimes worry that I mention them on the blog a) too much or b) not enough.
3. I just emailed Malin + Goetz, again, to beg free product for review. WTF? I mean, yeah, $48 for
glycolic acid pads is def not in the budget right now, but HAVE I NO SHAME?
4. Omigod I hate myself. I'm going to target to shop for a new mattress cover and a bamboo flatware organizer and maybe a tiny digital kitchen scale because my big stupid plastic one with the matching plastic bowl does not fit in our new cupboards. kthxbye

you're still my #1 source of edgy.
ReplyDeleteI don't really believe you, but that cheers me up immeasurably.
DeleteSounds like you just need to have a whisky and then flip some body off.
ReplyDeletei'll start panicking when you're linking to jcrew and posting pictures of red velvet cupcake towers, mkay?
ReplyDeleteESB, those Malin + Goetz glycolic pads are SOOOOO worth the money. I love them to bits.
ReplyDeleteits kind of nice when every commenter isnt being an asshole.
ReplyDeleteyes.
DeleteDo they have Shopko in CA? Because I just scored a small digital kitchen scale there for 50% off. It was 25 bucks!
ReplyDeleteWell, you still snarked all over my proposed bridesmaid dress, so I think you're fine.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I went ahead and bought it anyway! Which means I'm not as scared of you as I once was...?
DeleteThat wasn't even a SNARK "Is gold lamé one of the wedding colors?" was a totally legit question.
Deleteoh, you'll be back. sometimes it takes a little vacation to ensure the snark stays sharp.
ReplyDeleteIt's the home ownership. Soon you will be blogging about taxes
ReplyDeleteshitballs.
DeleteI like it. Don't get me wrong, I don't want you turning into A Cup of Joy, but a little break from Scary ESB is nice sometime.
ReplyDeleteyou're great in all of your forms, esb! just do you and embrace who you are in the moment!! :) i love your blog!
ReplyDeleteMakes me feel better about going to Target on a bi-weekly basis.
ReplyDeleteDon't buy the $16 mattress cover. It's worth it to not have to go back for the $50, so just buy the expensive one first time around.
ReplyDeleteI sort of would like to see you follow through on posting NO on shitty pinterest outfits. Sometimes I want to comment that the pictured toes are ugly and their toe nail polish fish scale design is stupid. Or that the cutesy boyfriend IM/text conversations are idiotic. Clearly, I have rage issues.
ReplyDeleteOn the topic of mattress covers, our Tempurpedic came with a mattress cover that is 100% waterproof yet still soft like a sheet AND has something like 3 free replacements over its lifetime. Best mattress cover ever. Totally worth it.
People care about mattress covers?? What's the point? Doesn't the sheet cover the mattress?
DeleteI don't know, maybe I'm missing the point and ESB is talking about something different.
DeleteOur tempurpedic was a huge (planned for, saved for) financial spend. If you have pets, have kids, drink in bed, have messy sex? I think its wise to have waterproof protection. Our cat got locked in the room once and pissed on the mattress. Disgusting. But we just had to throw everything in the washer and didn't have to totally replace the mattress.
I suggest that specific one because its waterproof but soft like a sheet. So you aren't sleeping on a plastic pee pad from your childhood.
Ohh I see. Didn't think about the waterproof aspect. Now I want one.
Deletethe topless gal with the facial harness thingy is still rather edgy. And...what Celia said.
ReplyDeletePic is downright creepy.
