Dear ESB,
I have been having the absolute worst time finding shoes for my wedding in January. I would love to wear the most rockin' heels, but that is just not in the cards (read: chasing millions of kids all day and super lame knee that won't allow rockin' heels for more than an hour). So, flats it is!
I have been having the worst time finding rad flats that aren't something I could wear everyday and aren't the most blingtastic, could absolutely never wear again. My dress is super classic and I would love to find some navy or possibly purple shoes with some awesome accent to wear with it. If you or your fantastic readers could help me, I would be SO grateful!
Budget: Under $200 if possible, thanks!

Rarely will you catch me recommending BOWS. But the Marais Maryjanes (pictured above) are pretty terrific.
These T-bar Flats are also rad.
Would you consider tan with gold studs?
They might be too flashy, but the Vera Wang Lavender Label makes some fancy flats with various levels of bling. I ended up wearing a pair for the end of the night at my wedding and was pretty happy with them comfort-wise.
ReplyDeleteI recognize that these are kitten heel, not flats, but I am going to suggest them anyway. I wore them for my wedding and they were SO comfy! They come in purple and blue: http://bit.ly/of7BKG
ReplyDeleteIf you could suffer black - I have a little selection on my blog today.
ReplyDeleteI am madly lusting over those navy T-bar flats. Oh budgets, how I never stick to you.
ReplyDeleteThese flats fit the bill and are only $60.
ReplyDeleteYou could always just add shoe clips to some plainer flats. I've seen a ton of cute ones on Etsy, like these: http://www.etsy.com/shop/sofisticata?ref=seller_info.
ReplyDelete@nicole what a great find! love those, I second those!
ReplyDeleteAre these too blingy? I think you need something rather sophisticated to go with that very classic and elegant dress.

Love the gold and tan!
ReplyDeleteThese ones are simple, super affordable ($36.00), could totally be worn again and are a lovely shade of Tiffany Blue (which melts my heart). You could easily add a little embellishment if you want a bit of sparkle. A hot glue gun is a bride's best friend!

@nicole, those are amazing
ReplyDeleteI love the Marais ones, but if you are anything like me and can't buy shoes from stores with crap return policies (ie less than a quarter of the shoes you try on actually fit), maybe these? Or these? Or maybe these.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much! I super appreciate it! I love the t-bar flats... You are all so amazing.
