    seeing this picture gave me the sweats. it reminded me of being in third grade (and doodling / putting stickers all over all of my belongings) and my mother saying "THIS IS WHY I CAN'T BUY YOU NICE THINGS."

    @17 beats. I'm with you-- had an extremely similar gut reaction. But mine was at age 5 or so, and I had used decorative postage stamps so it was like, "THIS IS WHY I CAN'T BUY YOU NICE THINGS AND ALSO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO USE MAIL."

    That is ridiculous and fucking stupid.
    But I think it must be soooooo hipster ... if you do not have to PAY for it, it's just a stupid bag. Right?

    Are you still on the search for a bag? I just bought one from Madewell and it's not expensive and really lovely thus far. Mine is black--I liked the green online but it was a little off in person, for what it's worth
