    would this be in the "it gets better" video for the twelve-year-old lauren shunned by her peers for loving renaissance faires? i think this is what one wears at their graduation ceremonies.

    lauren, does it make you feel better than i donned a self-made cape (blue bargain bin polyester from jo-ann fabric with silver duct tape trim) while performing in a live joust in sixth grade? i was crowned medieval day queen, and they put a crown atop my shiny tinfoil-encrusted helmet. true story.
