i'm kinda digging this ralph lauren.....

only $10,000!

it is made from "sweeping swathes of beautifully hand-embroidered cotton." so. you know.

    this falls solidly in the "clothes i could trip and then fall asleep while wearing and remain pretty comfortable" bucket, so i'm for it. that said, i prefer "swaths" sans the E, ralph lauren.

    sweeping swaths of hand embroidered cotton, is still just cotton, I bet a talented tailor could make you one for $100.

    I should say minus the hand embroidery, and it could be made for less.
    and of course minus ralph's tag sewn in the back (if you care for that sort of thing)

    I think I am from the wrong world. I don't like to ponder "beautiful dress" or "ten months rent". Meanwhile, though, I want to live in that dress... so... compromise?

    Message: Love the dress. However:

    1. Alliteration is unacceptable when describing dresses. Redact your Sweeping Swathes, stat.

    2. "Hand-embroidered cotton" reeks of child labor in India. Which has been a problem for you in the past, if I remember correctly.

    Please advise.
