speaking of shoes...



Cevd and I had something close to a religious experience when we saw this pair of Lanvins in person last week. No, seriously.

And may I just say? The saleslady (proprietress? she had the air of a proprietress) in the slammin thigh-high boots we encountered at Mona Moore could not have been more gracious. She knew we couldn't afford a thing in the place but she let us Oh and Ah without giving us the hairy eyeball or following us around with a Kleenex to make sure we didn't stain the Balenciaga bags with our drool.

One day I'll be back.

    one day i will have a closet filled with lanvin shoes and clothing (let us not forget the clothing) but until then i will continue to dream.

    and yeah her boots were perfection.

    Those are perfect for my wedding shoes! Too bad they cost more than my wedding dress. The search for cute flats continues...

    Eeeee!!! I had been considering writing you a letter to ask for flat shoes ideas. I haven't bought my dress yet, but I am intending to spend less on the dress so I can spend more on the (flat) shoes. Maybe not THIS much more. But ... maybe.

    There is nothing wrong with pretending that you already owned half of the latest shoes colletion when you envy them at your local Saks (at least I tell myself so everytime I'm there)

    Shoes = delicious.

    Mona Moore = slim chance of survival on Abbot Kinney. Right? I mean how many people in Venice are buying those kind of shoes? But at least you didn't get the hairy eyeball.

    I also have fallen head over heels for those shoes.

    I took those as inspiration for my wedding shoes. I bought some clip on accents from Etsy and added them to my shoes. They look amazing and for less than $100 for the whole shabang! If you are interested, I linked the Etsy seller on my blog.
