I miss being anonymous. I mean
really anonymous. I can't bitch about anything that's actually going on in my life because I never know who's gonna read the blog.
For example, H-town would probably get really pissed if I told you that he yelled at me for throwing away some really manky sliced turkey from Whole Foods because I've been trying to save money by doing most of the grocery shopping at Trader Joe's. WTF does one thing have to do with other? I should get food poisoning from some turkey that was manufacturing its own glue right there on the wax paper
just because it happened to be overpriced when I bought it??
Anyhoo. From here on out you can find me at

Ha!
ReplyDeleteA blogger writes in the forest... and some one hears.
Ha ha HA!
ReplyDelete(I miss it too. )
maybe you should have just had H eat the turkey himself and then said, "told you so, you tard!". that's what i would have done. healthy, huh?
ReplyDeletexxoo
Aw. You can just come bitch on my blog if you need to. :)
ReplyDeleteI hear you. My blog is technically anonymous, but my friends and family still know I have it so I wouldn't be able to let out a good rant.
ReplyDeletei throw out the rancid stuff when josh isn't looking. i'd just let him eat it... like celia. but i feel like the oldfoodgerms are gonna rub off on the rest of the stuff in the fridge.
ReplyDeletei miss secret blogging too...i keep thinking of getting back into it.
ReplyDeletesecret blogging is the best. wtf was i thinking even putting my first name on there. i mean, i know i live in nj so giovanna is not totally uncommon, but still. i bitched about my mom a few weeks back, she saw it and goes, "I hope you just wrote what you wrote for dramatic effect, because i'm not overbearing."
ReplyDeletegod, i hate those ridiculous arguments over things like rancid turkey. don't worry, you're not alone... we all have them. and they suck.
ReplyDeletethings will get better... if there's one thing I've learned about you over the years is that you're a tough cookie :) xo
Dude, I have this same problem. I didn't think any of my family even knew how to use the internet, much less could find my blog, and at a recent gathering, one of my aunts corners me and tells me she needs to talk to me about my blog entries. As if 1. she has any say so in what I do and 2. I'm 5 instead of 25. UGH!
ReplyDeleteMy family likes to read but they aren't computer savvy.
ReplyDeleteBlake and his family pretty much refuse to read and it takes them about 2 hours to log into something.
I think I'm safe. (I hope.)
Maybe I should keep that post about my self-aggrandizing sister-in-law to myself though, on second thought ;)
We fight over random crap, too. AND we're not married yet. Am I worried? No. Are we normal? Yes. Do we fight? Yep. Do we make up? Always. Hang in there! xoxo.
ReplyDeleteDude. I beat you to it. I did this a month or so ago. I just haven't felt like giving the link to a single person on the planet yet. David says it's my ETW training, that I should call it 'theatre for no audience.'
ReplyDeleteHa.
I would like to add that it sounds like you need a happy movie to watch (or cinematherapy is it were). Amelie always makes me feel happy. Someone like You is good too. Or you can just rent something from the video store.

Yes to the secretness. So much so I started another super secret blog so the only one who knows about my main blog doesn't know about the real secrets!
ReplyDeletemy cover is blown too... my brother commented on my blog the other day. the jig is up.
ReplyDeletekiwi got mad at me because i just threw away the fruitcake his grandma sent over from new zealand... fyi: she sent it in DECEMBER!
What a sad blog! I'm also thinking a lot lately about how much I've put out there on the internet and who can see it.
ReplyDeleteMeg, speaking of not being anonymous, I have a friend who was in the ETW, possibly at the same time as you.
wait. i totally get needing a place to bitch about your nearest and dearest, it's essentially why I created my (second) blog... but, what's to stop them from just following this link?
ReplyDelete@MsWOTY um. did *you* follow the link?
ReplyDeleteof course.
ReplyDeletehahah oh esb. how do you find this shit?
ReplyDeleteIf you guys think that having your blog read by your family is bad, try having it read by your *patients*.
ReplyDeleteAnonymity is near impossible. Fucking internets.
But oh my word, that blog is precious.
mine reads mine.
ReplyDeleteI'm ok, as long as those douchey co-workers back the fuck up.
