EXCUSE ME

Celia totally held out on us. Not only is there more ostrich action up on her blog, there are photos of the dance fest, the signature cocktails,* the most rad Celia necklace, and the elusive mariachi.

Sneaky sneaker blogger.

*That's right, Mr. Human Jukebox, I said signature cocktails. These people know a little something about mixing drinks.

  1. although i completely respect your love of this ostrich, it would scare the bejeezus out of me. i am petrified of regular birds, let alone giant ones.

  4. I love the weird noise llamas make. And the way you want to pet them, but you're always a little afraid they're about to spit on you...

speaking of spitting animals, my granny got spit on by a monkey at the zoo once. spitting animals are hysterical.

  7. Llamas will also eat your hair if you give them a chance. At least, that's what they did to me... but it didn't take away from their cuteness.

  8. Growing up, my parents owned an ostrich farm. They are nasty nasty animals! Super strong & the males kick the shit out of anyone that comes near them! Dad used to have to go into their pens holding a big piece of plywood so their kicks wouldn't be as concentrated. I have big parrots so I'm used to birds, but those fuckers scare me. I always did feel bad that they were being raised to be eaten :(

All of that being said- they are absolutely amazing looking & so original and cool in these pictures- just like the rest of her wedding!

  10. my last name sounds like "ostrich," among other things, so it factored into high school trauma for me a bit as well. (i still like ostriches, though.)
