I am generally not a fan of light suits. I am definitely not a fan of the chino version from J. Crew, ever popular for hot-weather weddings.
But these two are slammin.*

*And Mick, of course, knocks it out of the park.
We're going grey with the suit. But darker grey... not so light.
ReplyDeleteI tried to talk him into a vest, but Nooo. He said "he'd look like our Rabbi." Point. She does like her vests and ties.
Seriously skeptical of light suits. Buuuut...my dad rocks a white cashmere(!) suit and he looks amazing in it. There are advantages to being over 6 ft tall and looking like Sam Elliot.
ReplyDeletei love me a pale gray suit.
ReplyDeleteYum.
ReplyDeleteOoo pale grey, yum, and I'm also quite loving the idea of a white cashmere suit!
ReplyDeletetotally slammin
ReplyDeleteThat second suit is pretty much exactly what we wanted! Sadly we were at the mercy of my garment-industry-hooked-up dad. I love the suit we got the dude, but I am still wistful when I see photos like those!
ReplyDeleteWe went to a wedding this weekend and the boys were sporting light tan suits, it just looked chic, plus it was outdoors under eucalyptus trees so...yeah, win, win.
ReplyDeleteI am also not a fan of the light suits, but the guy in the second photo looks hot in the light grey one.
ReplyDeleteThat second one is hot! Lurve the waistcoat, mmm-mmm.
ReplyDeletethanks for the link love -- and i ADORE that second photo!!! they look so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteoh mick. sigh.
ReplyDeleteI can't stop thinking about that top photo -- any man who can make a linen suit look so... tough, is a man I want to know.
ReplyDeleteive seen a lot of the tan suits - but never that snazzy gray, love it
