Um. I kind of really want these.

But our lady of the Sea of Shoes is a junior in high school? WTF??

I think the healthiest thing might be for me to quietly unsubscribe from her blog.

  4. These young girls make me feel so inadequate. Maybe I'm still just bitter about the Olivia trash the dress shoot not working out. We exchanged emails, she seemed really excited about it, then when her parents were supposed to call and talk to me I hear nothing. I have a feeling they nixed the idea.

Maybe they just thought I was a pervert or something?

My friend just said "14 is the new 25" and I wanted to puke.
These tween bloggers are too cool for school.

  6. You guys, those shoes cost NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS. That is more than half my rent.

I think Olivia Bee's parents are doing something right. (But I'm sorry about your shoot Amanda, I was really looking forward to that.)

  8. Despite my misgivings and the fact that reading her blog makes me feel old and unfashionable, I admit that I cannot quit Sea of Shoes. But my truly serious teenage fashionista fascination lies with Camille of Childhood flames. At least she's more resourceful, constructing many of her own clothes and finding copious bargains at Target and Forever 21 which somehow look like the chicest things once she puts them on. Camille is also homeschooled and that adds to my affection for her, since she is singlehandedly refuting the stereotype of homeschoolers being frumpy dweebs. Still, these people are like little fashion savants. It's insane!

  10. All the tween bloggers are fun, but I worry about them. I had such a great, clothing-carefree high school/college existence (the fanciest brand I even knew about was J. Crew) - but life was still great because I was young and fun. Now I follow fashion because I can't go to keggers every night anymore and need some sort of a hobby. These kids just grow up too fast!
