We are indeed getting married at Camp Ben. For the price ($100/day) it just can't be beat. Not to mention it's pretty and fits the mood of the kind of party we want. D came around when she found the tether ball pole and I told her she could have baskets of sports equipment to play with at the reception. Yes, I'm marrying a 10 year old.
All our engagement pictures were taken at Camp Ben, btw.
You get what you pay for, however. The bathrooms are reminiscent of girl scout camp (read: slightly scary) and we have to do all the work. We've actually reserved the space for the whole weekend (a whopping $250) to do set up and clean up. I like that, though, being ocd like I am.
Wow. It went in the mail last Monday. Let me know if it doesn't make it to you by the end of the week and I'll put together a post-Valentines box. I'd hate to have the post office mess up the swap.

Oh, did you ever receive your V'day goods?
ReplyDeleteI love Airstream trailers. I wish my grandparents hadn't sold theirs.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't we have $100 per day amazing venues in LA? Sometimes I get bitter.

ReplyDeleteNo v-day goods yet. But our postpeople are pretty sucky. And it's a rainy holiday today :/
