After an involuntary 10 days unplugged we have finally made our way to Grounded, which New York Magazine describes as a "lumpy-couched, reggae-thumping, plant-strewn hovel." All I care about is the wireless, but I have to admit I was relieved to hear the Smiths when we walked in.
Anyhoo, I miss you guys. I've been happily reading the novel my mom bought me for xmas. (My big new year's resolution is to do more reading offline. I will elaborate later.) But 10 days without internet??
I guess it's kind of like a mental juice fast. When we get home my brain will be skinnier. Maybe I'll start remembering people's names instead of the names of obscure brands of sneakers I find online.

I love Grounded...it's always my internet stop too!!!
ReplyDeleteGod love the wireless. And lumpy couched, plant strewn hovels.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year girly.
Happy New Year! The East Side ain't the same without ya :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome back (temporarily!) and happy new year:) I've vowed to unplug some more, as well. Books make me feel so much more peaceful.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's on my reading list! Can't wait to hear how you like it.
ReplyDeleteJust finished that LAST NIGHT. Made me wish I spoke Spanish too. I'M SO GLAD YOU ARE BACK! (too forward)? ;)
ReplyDeleteI miss you. Come back soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm in stitches waiting for you to come back!
ReplyDeleteI never gave my book report!
ReplyDeleteThe Brief Wondrous Life... was a completely engrossing read, but I was left disappointed somehow. Meg?
