Thank you, Alice, for reminding me that the best dishes are mismatched. I can get a hair obsessive on this subject, and we've had a big fat credit sitting at OK* for months.**
I will take a deep breath and pick out some bowls that complement the pottery we've already got.
*Fabulous west hollywood design store where we registered and, following excruciatingly proper etiquette, told no one.
**Please don't scoff at me. Did I mention the store is in west hollywood? Getting there together (um, during business hours) has been an insurmountable obstacle for H-town and me.
