Peonies and Polaroids posted the killer
getting dressed shots yesterday.
On the subject of Groom Style and The Boy, which let's face facts, we are all overlooking in our oohs and ahs over Peonies herself:
1. Yes on the single flower plucked from his lady's bouquet. Overwhelmingly yes. (I must tell you, I have never been a big fan of the boutonniere.)
2. Hello, this shirt is fabulous.
Aww! Thanks for loving my boy's style!
ReplyDeleteYou remember when you wrote that when you get dressed in the morning you think 'would the sartorialist photograph me in this?' When we were shopping for The Boy's outfit I was secretly thinking 'would East Side call this Groom Style?'
It's so satisfying when your ambitions are achieved!
And I'm glad you like the shirt, it cost us a fucking fortune.
ReplyDeleteTotally agreed! They both look great, and I absolutely love the flower taken from Peonies' bouquet ... that might be an idea that I will be commandeering (hope you don't mind Peonies). I am so with you on boutonnieres, I just don't care about 'em at all.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is a nice shirt. But Ted Baker, expensive?
ReplyDeleteanyway, thankfully my boy is always well dressed and wears a shirt and jacket as a matter of course, so I can leave his outfit to him without a second thought!
And yay for getting ready together. (Truly one of the highlights for me!)
ReplyDeletethanks ladies! And yes, expensive! Maybe £75 for a shirt is only expensive in our household though. We're young and broke.
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean to sound insulting Peonies, I just didn't think Ted came into the "costing a f***ing fortune" category!
ReplyDeleteOh Peonies, you know what's funny? I first envisioned H-town wearing a fabulous shirt, fuck the jacket. But he had his heart set on a suit. (Who knew? This is a guy that lives in t-shirts.)
ReplyDeleteRachel, don't worry, I'm not insulted. Just financially inadequate!
ReplyDeleteEast Side, isn't it funny how they have ideas of their own?!
