hey that's our hood! we had an 'east london' wedding in August. Just about everything was sourced locally, except my husband, who's from NYC, and about half the guests. He's over in NYC this week.. and I miss him.....

Is the east side just cooler in *every* city? (Don't get me wrong. I <3 the west village. But it doesn't have the same edge as the east village. And you can't get pierogi at 3am.)

no way - i was just in Shoreditch last week and we ended up at The Diner late night. I love that part of town!
