Enough already with the Grecian sandals. I've been looking for a pair like my mom wore in the 70's with her white painter's pants.
Here they are. But sadly, I just can't spend the money. $175 buys a lot of parasols, people.

I know all about finding cute things to wear, but not being able to afford them due to the wedding budget!! I can't tell you how much I would LOVE a new shirt to wear to work. But, alas....
ReplyDeleteWhat's really infuriating is when you see a bunch of stuff on SALE, but you don't have the money for it right then!! Grrr....
These are the perfect brown sandals...hmm surely they can be found elsewhere for cheaper? I'll see what I can find and let you know if I have any success
ReplyDelete(I can tell your excited)

ReplyDeletecheck out this website, way way cheaper (all under 50$), and hand made in Greece.
a friend in Athens mailed me some for my b-day, and thats how I discovered the poet sandal maker.
although with clients like Jackie O, and Sophia Loren, I don't know how he still remains a secret.
but they also ship to the states.
Laura, you rock!
ReplyDeleteyou probably bought a pair already but...
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog and I'm loving it. I bought these shoes because they reminded me of sandals I used to have. Super comfortable, plus you are supposed to go into salt water with them so they conform to your feet, which I love. And super cheap.

Robyn, you're sweet. But I think they're just a little too chunky.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Greek sandals Laura recommended are just a little too Greek.
What can I say, I'm Goldilocks :P
