These are gorgeous, I particularly love the middle ones, so sweet. Unfortunately I'm addicted to heels and I just can't give them up. I could no more wear flats to my wedding that I could wear a pair of jeans a woolly jumper! Which isn't to say that I wouldn't think a bride was just fabulous for wearing flats, jeans or a woolly jumper but personally I am addicted to dresses and heels!
You're bringing out the Gemini in me! I'm actually v. torn on this issue. But we're getting married in the country and a heel will sink straight into the grass. I'm gonna have to do a wedge search... Just to be thorough.
Me too! We're getting married in a garden so flats would be the most sensible thing to wear but I just can't bring myself too! I've been looking for wedges but can't find any that aren't very chunky or leather. So I've found sky high peep toes with quite wide heels that won't sink into the grass and I'm just trying to find someone to send them to me now as they won't ship to the UK. Honestly, finding shoes has been harder than finding the dress!
Yes, why are all the wedges chunky...?? You are so right. My dress is a sample I bought a year ago and I still love it. But I've bought two pairs of shoes so far and I'm still not happy... I figure now I'm set for the bachelorette and the honeymoon. Plus the dress cost $80 so I'm allowed to go a little bonkers, right?
Why wear painful heels when you can wear comfortable flats that are GORGEOUS (I'll take all three, please).
ReplyDeleteI've got my ebay alerts set. These are all a little, um, pricey... :)

ReplyDeleteWow! With a dress for $80 you can have as many pairs of shoes as you like!
ReplyDeleteI've found a few pairs of beautiful non-chunky wedges but all of them are either dark leather which is no good, or absolutely extortionate!
I love these ones -

But if I bought them it would have to be instead of food and drink at the reception!
